North State Bank Announces 22nd Annual Summer Salute for Transitions LifeCare

RALEIGH, NC . . . The 22nd annual Summer Salute for Transitions LifeCare, hosted by North State Bank, will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, announced event co-chairs Sondra Collins and Jim Branch. This exciting evening promises live music by The Embers featuring Craig Woolard, a live auction, an island-themed buffet, drinks, games, raffle prizes, and more—all in support of a meaningful cause.

Summer Salute raises critical funds to support Transitions LifeCare in providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families, regardless of their financial circumstances. Following the 2024 event, North State Bank and Summer Salute committee members presented a $115,000 donation to Transitions LifeCare, bringing the total contribution to date to more than $2.4 million.

There are a number of ways to support Transitions LifeCare through Summer Salute: 

Event Tickets and Sponsorships:
  • Individual event tickets are on sale at SummerSalute.com for a $100 donation to Summer Salute.
  • There are a number of sponsorship levels available that include 2 to 12 tickets plus other benefits.
Summer Fun Raffle: 
  • Prize options include a week’s stay in a beautiful home in Turks & Caicos; a 4-day, 3-night stay in the heart of NYC, including a $1,000 shopping spree, fine dining for two and $500 airfare credit; or 1-carat total-weight diamond stud earrings from Fink’s Jewelers of North Hills.
  • Tickets are $100 each, and only 350 will be sold. The drawing will take place at the event and the two prizes not selected by the winner will immediately be placed in a live auction. You do not have to be present to win the Raffle.
  • Tickets are on sale at SummerSalute.com through May 31, 2025, or until they sell out, whichever comes first.
10 Days of Summer Salute Online Auction: 
  • A captivating selection of unique items and exclusive experiences will be up for grabs in the online auction, set to kick off at Noon on Thursday, May 22, and conclude at 8:30 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
  • In addition to being featured online, items will be on display the evening of May 31st at Summer Salute.
