Open a Greenlight Debit Card
A parent or guardian must open their child's Greenlight Debit Card account. Before enrolling, have the information below readily available:
- The parent’s mobile number and email address.
- The child’s mobile number (if applicable, not required).
- Child’s name and date of birth.
- Parent’s name and date of birth.
- Online Banking credentials for the North State Bank account that will fund the Greenlight account (if using account look-up).
-Or- - Account and routing numbers for the North State Bank account that will fund the Greenlight account (if you prefer to link your account manually).
A note about the linked funding account: North State Bank will pay the cost of your Greenlight account when it is linked to a North State Bank funding source. Greenlight will allow you to link to a non-North State Bank account for funding; however, Greenlight will assess a monthly fee.
*North State Bank customers are eligible for the Greenlight SELECT plan at no cost when they connect their North State Bank account as the Greenlight funding source for the entirety of the promotion.
